Australian usage of Second Life up 169% in 3 months

Linden Labs released updated metrics last week for March, including usage by country.
Comparing these to the January figures:

  • Australians now make up a greater percentage of active residents - 2.43% compared to 1.48%
  • In hard numbers (because overall Second Life usage is growing), there were 124,932 Australian residents in March. This compares to 46,465 in January.    (The hard numbers are a result of me taking the %s into the total number of Second Life users ; ‘active resident’ is defined by Linden Labs as logged in the last 60 days)
