‘creative showcase’ launched for Australian online

Something that was announced around the same time as the IAB Awards that I didn’t cover is the "Creative Showcase".

It’s an awards program that is focussed purely on great digital creative - something to let the creatives run wild, although entries must be for actual client work that has run.

Its a little different to most awards programs in that it’s quarterly - one winner announced every 3 months, as judged by a rotating panel of judges - which makes sense as things can change so often over a whole year (although I swear less than 10% of creative agencies must proactively read about, for example, updates in Eyeblaster or DoubleClick rich media products that offer new functionality).
